Choquechirau



Often described as a "sister site" to Machu Picchu, Choquechirau is only recently being fully excavated and explored, and in overall size it may be bigger than Machu Picchu. This makes an excellent alternative to the classic Inca Trail.

However, for a true epic adventure, this trek can also be lengthened to include trekking all the way to Machu Picchu!
